Kazakhstan’s cycling team Astana has come third in the team race as part of Day 4 of Giro d’Italia. The American team, «Garmin Barracuda», was the first to cross the finishing line as it took them 37 minutes and 4 seconds to complete the fourth stage. Russian team Katyusha finished second, being just five seconds behind the winners. In the fight for third place, Astana was just a few hundredths of a second ahead of team Saxo Bank, but fell 17 seconds behind team Katyusha. Lithuanian Ramunas Navardauskas from Garmin-Barracuda ascended to the top of the overall standings, while American Taylor Phinney went down to second position.
