Kazakh President received foreign ambassadors' credentialsThe EU Ambassador to Kazakhstan Aurelia Bouchez, Greek Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador Efthymious Pantzopoulos, South African Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary  Ambassador Shirish Maneklal Soni, Korean  Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary  Ambassador Pak Cuhen and Kyrgyz Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador Esengul Omuraliyev delivered credentials to Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev.

During the ceremony N. Nazarbayev greeted diplomats, congratulated them on the start of their diplomatic work and expressed hope they will strengthen interaction between Kazakhstan and their countries.

“20 years ago Kazakhstan has become an independent country, and also a full-fledged member of the UN, established diplomatic relations with many countries in the world. We built friendship and mutual understanding all around the borders of Kazakhstan,” the Kazakh President mentioned.

Kazakh President plans to visit Republic of South Africa

Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev will probably pay a state visit to the Republic of South Africa.

The Leader of the Nation told that at the ceremony of presentation of credentials by Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa Shirish M. Soni to President Nursultan Nazarbayev.

“The Republic of South Africa is an important promising partner of Kazakhstan on the African continent. Steady, dynamic development of our economies provides all conditions for full realization of the two states’ potentials,” Nursultan Nazarbayev said addressing ambassadors at the presentation of credentials today.

Kyrgyz President to visit Kazakhstan

Kazakh President receiving the credential of Kyrgyz Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador Esengul Omuraliev said that Kyrgyz President is expected to visit Kazakhstan in May 2012.

Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan will mark this October the 20th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations. It is our strategic partner and a reliable ally, we are sincerely interested in the stability and prosperity of Kyrgyzstan. We will continue to fully support the brotherly people. The two countries’ Supreme Interstate Council, chaired by the Presidents, Intergovernmental Council, the Council of Foreign Ministers bring good results. “I believe Kyrgyz President’s visit to Kazakhstan scheduled this May will bring our relations to a new level,” N. The key is to sign a new EU – Kazakhstan partnership agreement, Nursultan Nazarbayev

“The key issue for Kazakhstan is the signing of a new agreement on partnership with the European Union,” Nursultan Nazarbayev said at the ceremony of presentation of credentials by head of the EU Delegation to Kazakhstan Aurelia Bouchez to President Nursultan Nazarbayev.

“I would like to note the high level of important strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and the European Union. Today the EU is the key trade partner of Kazakhstan. Last year the sales between Kazakhstan and the EU countries reached USD 50 bln, that is 40% of Kazakhstan’s foreign trade,” President Nursultan Nazarbayev said.

“Now the key is to sign a new partnership agreement with the EU. It will bring our relations to a brand new level,” the President said.

Kazakh President invited to visit Greece

President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev received an invitation to pay an official visit to Greece.

Greek Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador Efthymios Pantzopolous told today after the presentation of credentials to the Head of State.

“Our countries enjoy good relations; surely, the ties could be developed further in various areas. This year we will mark the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Greece,” the Ambassador added.
