New jobs to be created in single-industry towns within Employment-2020 Program
ASTANA. March 26. KAZINFORM The measures on assistance in employment by means of creation of social jobs and organization of youth practices will be taken in single-industry towns, the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Kazakhstan informs.
‘Taking into consideration the one-dimensional direction of work of single-industry towns, the emphasis will be put on forming the optimal structure of employment of the people residing in these towns and spread of human resources among promising growth points of the country oriented at newly established productions,’ the statement reads.
Besides, the organization of training, retraining and qualification improvement courses for the personnel within the framework of the Employment-2020 Program is oriented at implementation of large-scale projects of the Industrialization Map.
Besides, the quotas for education of young people from these towns in established interregional centers for personnel training will be allocated.
One of the main directions is also stimulation of voluntary move of the people from single-industry towns to the centers of economic growth of the region and the country in whole. ‘These measures are planned to be coordinated with the measures taken on construction of housing within the third direction of the Employment-2020 Program and the Program under development ‘Affordable Housing’,’ the Ministry noted.
Besides, it is planned to reconstruct and construct many educational facilities, healthcare facilities and repair the infrastructure in many single-industry towns.
