ArcelorMittal Temirtau maintains September shipments

In September this year, the largest metallurgical enterprise in Kazakhstan ArcelorMittal Temirtau maintained its production and shipment volumes in the range of 256,000 tonnes to 260,000 tonnes of metal products.
The company could not increase its shipments because of a railcar shortage.
In September, the company shipped 140,000 tonne to 142,000 tonnes of hot rolled steel, almost the same as the August level and about 40,000 tonnes of cold rolled sheets and coils against 35,000 tonnes in August.
In the January-September period of the current year, ArcelorMittal Temirtau produced 2.9 million tonnes of crude steel, up 14% YoY. In 2011, the company plans to increase crude steel production by 15.2% compared to 2010, to 3.8 million tonnes.
