Kazakhstan expects to produce the record grain volumes for recent 20 years

In 2011 Kazakhstan expects to produce the record grain harvest for recent 20 years, said Eugene Aman, Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan.
In the current year, the record grain harvest will increase the export potential to the level of 10 mln tonnes, said E.Aman on September 15.
Previously, the Ministry of Agriculture reported that the general grain production in 2011 was expected at the level of 18-18.9 mln tonnes. The export potential was estimated at 10 mln tonnes.
In 2009, Kazakhstan, included to the list of seven major world exporters of grains, produced the record harvest of 21 mln tonnes of grains. The country supplied 8.3 mln tonnes of grains on foreign markets.
