KAZINFORM /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ –   President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has received Chairman of the Subcommittee for Foreign Affairs of the House of Representatives of the U.S. Congress Eni Fa’aua’a Hunkin Faleomavaega, Jr.

“I and Kazakhstan are grateful for the continuous assistance of your country in the policy that we conduct. You do a lot to reinforce Kazakh-American relations. It is good that the visit of the U.S. Congress delegation has coincided with the III Congress of the Leaders of the World and Traditional Religions which is being held. I welcome your opinions and advises”, – the President said.

In reply Eni Faleomavaega thanked the President for the meeting. “I know your busy schedule, – he said, -I would like to point out the fact that you are holding such an important congress where the essential motive is not just the role of religions but tolerance in the mutual relations between people. Many confessions have been represented these two days, and we pay the tribute to the steps you make at the presidential level to promote the issue of nuclear” », -the congressman said.
