KMG and CNPC inked Agr’t on scientific-technical and innovation coop

Within Hu Jintao’s official visit to Kazakhstan national Company KazMunayGas JSC (KMG) and China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) have signed an Agreement on scientific-technical and innovation cooperation.
KMG Chairman of the Board Kairgeldy Kabyldin and the CNPC Vice President inked the Agreement; a press release of the KMG reports.
This Agreement is called to create a mechanism of open and mutually beneficial cooperation between KMG and CNPC in the sphere of innovative technologies, science, further training.
“Kazakhstan’s oil and gas market embarked on the course of innovative development and within the state program of forced industrial innovative development of Kazakhstan for 2010-2014 KMG implements several important projects in the field of oil refining and petroleum chemistry. This Agreement is an important measure for formation of KMG’s innovations portfolio,” K.Kabyldin said.
“I am confident that this Agreement will become a new stage of cooperation between CNPC and KMG. CNPC, in its turn, is ready to share its experience, technologies in the field of exploration and production of raw hydrocarbons, production of oil equipment. Special attention will be paid to the matters of training of scientific and engineering specialists,” the Chinese representative said.
Within the Agreement the sides plan to develop joint scientific-technical projects.
