Interfax presents environmental and energy efficiency ratings of Kazakh companiesInterfax Information Services Group in partnership with the Almaty-based Center for Sustainable Production and Consumption presented the rating of environmental and energy efficiency of Kazakhstan’s companies.

The rating actions were conducted by the experts of Interfax-ERA environmental and energy rating agency based on the principal methodologies applicable to both Russia and Kazakhstan.

194 Kazakhstan’s companies disclosed information on their technological and eco-energy efficiency that was sufficient for the rating actions.

Top ratings in environmental and energy efficiency were assigned to: ATYRAU ZPT,

Aktyubrentgen JSC, Saburkhan Technologies LTD; in technological efficiency: Kazarmaprom LLP, Karabulak LLP Almatygorstroy CYLC-5 ; in efficiency dynamics: ASIA AUTO JSC, LLP Foodmaster-Shymkent, LLP Teniz Service; in transparency of business eco-energy aspects: Tsesna-Astyk, LLP Kazakhmys Corporation, Atyrau Refinery.

Leaders in energy and coal mining include: LLP Jet 7, Temir Zhol Zhylu (Taraz) and JSC AES Ust-Kamenogorsk; in oil and gas production: KazTransGas JSC, KMG TRADING HOUSE and Saburkhan Technologies LTD; in iron and steel industry: IMSTALCON ZHZMK IMSTALCON Rudny ZMK and IMSTALCON UKZMK; in non-ferrous metallurgy:
