7th World Islamic Economic Forum in Astana to greatly benefit Muslim world

The 7th World Islamic Economic Forum in Astana will greatly benefit the Muslim world and dialogue that is held outside the Islamic community, Secretary General of the WIFE Organization Tan Sri Ahmad Fuzi bin Hj Abdul Razak said it during a ’roundtable’ held in Moscow.
‘We strongly believe that the upcoming Forum will greatly benefit the Muslim world and assist in developing economic discussions held outside the Islamic community. I think that business economic prospects, the Forum provides, will allow to strengthen mutual contacts for many countries,’ the Secretary general said.
‘Kazakhstan is a large country that is rich in recourses and it is capable of investing business and developing many business directions. The international transportation corridors that run through Kazakhstan are very important because they unite Iran, India, Russia and facilitate logistics for many big countries,’ he noted.
According to him, this Forum in Astana will help to unite business communities and attract over two thousand of participants including Leaders of many countries. ‘We believe that we will continue the tradition of inviting the heads of governments of different states to the Forum in Kazakhstan. Besides, we hope that the topics discussed at the Forum will be later reflected in real actions at the markets,’ he emphasized.
This event is held on the threshold of the 7th World Islamic Economic Forum in Astana that is scheduled for June 7-9. It is dedicated to considering the issues of opportunities in the field of Islamic banking, financing and developing of halal industry.
The organizers of the event are the World Islamic Economic Forum under the auspices of the Embassy of Kazakhstan and Malaysia to Russia, Malaysian halal industry corporations and Malaysian Trade Development Corporation.
