Kazakhstan issues January to October production results

According to the data released by the Republic of Kazakhstan Agency of Statistics, in the first 10 months of this year the country registered a 4.2%YoY in its crude steel production but a 5.5%YoY decrease in its production of flat rolled steel to about 3.56 million tonnes and 2.4 million tonnes respectively.
The country tinplate production for the given period amounted to 170,128 tonnes up by 1.7% YoY and its galvanized steel output amounted to 492,332 tonnes up by 2.4%YoY.
In January to October this year, Kazakhstan output of ferroalloys increased by 22.8%YoY to 1.44 million tonnes, while its iron ore pellet production went up by 42.6% to 6.6 million tonnes.
The country coal output during the first 10 months of this year increased by 10.8%YoY to 88.2 million tonnes while its coke output went down 2.2%YoY to 2.2 million tonnes.
As of November 1, grain stocks in Kazakhstan exceeded the volume of 12 mln tonnes

In January-October 2010, the general volume of agricultural products output in Kazakhstan totaled 1236.4 bln tenge (8.4 bln USD), a decrease of 12.4% compared to January-October of 2009, declared the Agency of Statistics of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During January-October of 2010, the general output of agricultural products (services) totaled 1236.4 bln tenge (8.4 bln USD), including plant growing products output – 606.5 bln tenge (4.12 bln USD), services – 4.3 bln tenge (29.24 mln USD).
According to data of the Agency, as of November 1, 2010, the carry-over stocks of main grains in Kazakhstan totaled 12.07 mln tonnes, including 10.7 mln tonnes of wheat, 796.9 thsd tonnes of barley, 274.5 thsd tonnes of rice, 82.2 thsd tonnes of oats, 42.5 thsd tonnes of rye, 56.9 thsd tonnes of maize.
