Kazakh Defense Ministry welcomes new deputy defense minister

Kazakh Defense Ministry welcomes new deputy defense ministerAset Kurmangaliyev has been appointed deputy defense minister of Kazakhstan.

Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev signed a resolution to approve the appointment.

Mr Kurmangaliyev, 44 years old, has previously worked as head of the administration of the Kazakh Defense Ministry.

The president also relieved Nurlan Djulamanov and Bulat Sembinov of their duties as defense vice ministers.

According to the press office, Mr Djulamanov and Mr Sembinov were transferred to another office.
