New Kazakh Health Minister named

Salidat Kairbekoba has been appointed Kazakgstan’s new Health Minister.
President Nursultan Nazarbayev has already signed the appointment documents, the presidential press-service said on Thursday. Kairbekova previously served as Deputy Health Minister of Kazakhstan.
President Nazarbayev has also relieved Zhaksylyk Doskaliyev of his duties.
As reported, the State Agency for Combating Corruption and Economic Crimes (financial police) brought charges against Kazakh Health Minister Zhaksylyk Doskaliyev over alleged abuse of power.
Doskaliyev was appointed Minister of Health in November 2008.
